Spun up an initial instance of hyblog: The 'hyblog' hybrid blogging system as a first step in attempting a refactoring of the core files.

The thought behind attempting a refactoring of hyblog is that there are improvements to be made in the areas of:

• reducing code duplication
• styling optimizations
• issue/bug identification & improvement
• feature additions and enhancements

The purpose in this attempt is not to create a bloated platform that deviates greatly from it's initial concept. Rather, I think there is great potential for this platform— at least in terms of my need for a blogging platform, and I think what limited skills I have could improve upon the solid foundation which already exists.

Codename: f(ranken)log

f.log.kvl.me will serve as a development site for this refactoring AND as the changelog for the process.

Using the hyblog platform itself to document the process will help to identify use cases and issues.

A slightly refactored version of hyblog is in active use at log.kvl.me and is the impetus for me wanting to take customizing and improving the platform a bit further.
